Going on a Trek

My socks are going to Portland with me in the morning. My Dad is having triple bypass tomorrow sometime....so will have lots of waiting and knitting time. Hope I can get there before he goes to surgery - but can't leave tonight - too many other obligations. He won't miss me - but I'll miss him - no it isn't as it sounds - it's just one more person in the mix of family and friends won't matter that much. But will be there when he wakes up for sure!
If I'd planned this trip in advance it would have included Yarn Store hoping - but can't go without budgeted cash - so next time I guess.
All WILL BE WELL!!!!

Beautiful sock! It will comfort you in many ways. It's probably best not to go yarn store shopping when worried - who knows what you would end up with! And you're right - all will be well.

Lovely sock! It's a great color.

I'll keep my good thoughts with you and your dad.

Don't worry about yarn store hopping this time around. The yarn will still be there next time. If I don't buy it all, that is.

Your sock is lovely! I hope all goes well with your dad.

I enjoyed reading about the breast cancer walk. I hiked Pilot Butte today, so I will post photos of that tomorrow.

Hope all is well with your Dad. Prayers for a quick recovery. Travel safety with the pointed needles put away until you're safety at your destination. Knit zen.
